We have a name!

The School Board announced and approved the name for our school. I am pleased to announce the following:

Name-Black Ridge Elementary
Macot-bears
Colors-burnt orange, slate gray, and white.

On March 11 the following names were presented to the school board:
Black Ridge Elementary
West Canyon Elementary
Juniper Hills Elementary

The board will decide on the name of the school and announce it on March 25. Our mascot is a bear and our school colors are burnt orange, slate gray, and white. Thank you for your feedback and input!

Thank you for coming out to our Parent Meetings. I enjoyed meeting you.

Our naming committee will be meeting during the week of March 3 to narrow our selections down to three. They will be presented to the School Board on March 11. The School Board will decide on a name and will announce their decision in about a month.
